Ministry Description for Senior Pastor
The Bible Fellowship Church of Royersford
The Bible Fellowship Church of Royersford, PA is seeking a spirit-filled man to assume the role of Senior Pastor. The primary responsibilities for the Senior Pastor include general oversight of the spiritual life of our church through nurturing, leadership, growth, and discipleship. As we seek to love God, each other, and those in our community, the Senior Pastor will provide leadership to our body through prayer, preaching/
teaching, exhortation, leadership, and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  Shepherding:

1. Works in partnership with the Elders to oversee the church body in the areas of:

   a. spiritual development

   b. counseling

   c. fellowship

   d. visitation

2. As a teaching Elder:

   a. Preaches

   b. Teaches adult Sunday school

  Leadership:

1. Serves on the Board of Elders where he provides input into the vision and mission of the church.

2. Provides leadership and guidance for our outreach and evangelism efforts.

  Administration:

1. Works with the Pastoral Relations Committee to:

   a. manage the office staff

   b. be responsible for general church administration

Qualifications:

1. Must affirm the Faith & Order of the Bible Fellowship Church without reservation.

2. Ability to be approved by the BFC Candidate Committee and/or by the BFC Credentials Committee.

3. Education requirements

   a. A Master's Degree in Ministry is preferred.

   b. Undergraduate degree from an accredited Bible College
   considered.

4. Spiritual Gifting

   a. Preaching/Teaching

   b. Shepherding

   c. Leadership/Exhortation

5. Experience - Five years pastoral ministry experience preferred.

Who We Are:

Royersford Bible Fellowship Church is an Elder led, multi-generational church located in Limerick Township, Pennsylvania. We are an established church in a growing area. We have one Sunday morning blended-style worship service, with an average attendance of 150, community-based mid-week evening children's and youth program. We are committed to a strong emphasis on Bible-teaching and application.
